Volantis and Cozart have REALLY spoiled us when it comes to freshman pitchers these last two years. Insane how good both those guys were immediately. Can’t wait to see what we can do in Omaha!

I love Avdalas, but he doesn't really fit with the other pieces they've collected to this point. Ideal situation would be a 3&D wing to fill out the starting five and then some depth.

Wonder how many of these are entering for NIL negotiating purposes vs how many are for sure leaving. Don’t know if Coach Vic has the same policy as Sark with regards to that. Tons of what ifs, including "what if Traore was healthy so we could avoid getting bludgeoned down low every time Matas sits". But couldn't be prouder of this team and the heart that they showed, especially Pope and Mark tonight playing through pain. Miller proved himself and my excitement level for men's hoops is as high as it's been in a LONG time. Looking forward to seeing how he re-tools next year. Lots of scoring to replace with Swain (probably), Mark, and Pope moving on.

Interesting, makes sense. I'm assuming the 9 games will still be regular season games only, so essentially, you could take a player, sit him out for the non-conference games, and then they are eligible to play the rest of the season without burning a redshirt, which is just wild to me.

Why not just give players five years of eligibility at that point?

The dramatic LT vs RT dynamic is such a thing of the past. Three of the eight highest paid tackles in the NFL are right tackles. In the last three drafts, there have been seven tackles taken in the top-10. Four of those played right tackle in college (Membou, Alt, Latham, Wright). Whichever player switched to RT would not be hurting their draft stock one bit.
