Tarleton will have seen Volantis and UCSB has a season's worth of information on him, so the scouting component isn't a big deal. Personally, I think this is more about Schloss and Weiner hedging against Ruger's shoulder not being up to snuff tomorrow and needing to use more bullpen arms if Riojas can't go deep.

Tarleton hasn't had a runner reach third base against Volantis tonight.

A nice defensive play by Becerra on a ball back up the middle helps Volantis put together a 1-2-3 sixth. At 84 pitches, that should be it for Volantis.
