  1. Miller: "The defense is so much a part of the talent you have."
  2. Miller said he's confident in his style of play translating to the SEC regardless of what everybody else in the league is doing.

Miller's vision of the program involves four things: recruiting (transfer portal, recruiting the best high school players, a great feel for international recruiting and winning within the state), player development, style of play (up-tempo style of play, playing fast and smart, toughness), culture (can you turn it around when your back is against the wall?)
  14. He sounds excited about maximizing the recruiting reach of Texas.
  15. Miller said he's known Tom Penders since he was in the second grade.
  16. Miller said Texas "might be the most talent-rich state in our nation."
  17. Miller said he did his best to reach out to and build relationships with the former players at Xavier and Arizona.
  18. Miller on Texas: "There's no doubt in my mind that when you're the flagship school in the state of Texas, your power is limitless."
  19. Sean Miller's youngest son went to Salpointe Catholic in Tucson with Bijan Robinson.
  20. Miller said he's "a huge college football fan." He's watched the rise of Steve Sarkisian and he's become a fan of watching Texas, especially now that Texas is in the SEC.
  21. Miller on Terry: "I know he's given his heart and soul to this place."
  22. Miller on Rodney Terry: "I have immense respect for him."
  23. Miller: "To be the coach here is quite an honor."
  24. Miller is thanking the Texas brass "for this unbelievable opportunity."
  25. Miller: "You wouldn't want me to be the coach if I didn't have really strong feelings about the place I just left."
