A walk and a wild pitch by Grubbs put a runner in scoring position. Robbins couldn't catch up to a drive to left-center by Wooldridge, scoring Hirschkorn from second. It's a 7-2 lead for the Longhorns, two outs and a runner in scoring position for UC Davis in the top of the seventh.

The Longhorns go down in order in the bottom of the sixth. RHP Keenan Anzai gave UC Davis a lift out of the bullpen.
