Mass confusion leads to three UC Davis defenders losing track of a bloop popup off Pack's bat to fall inside the left-field line for a base hit. For the the third inning in a row, Texas has the bases loaded.

Tulo is valuable to the staff and program for his help with the middle infielders and the mental approach to the game as much as anything else. Schloss has plenty of championship-caliber offenses in his career. Last year, the main problem was a lack of pitching depth. The pitchers got stretched beyond their means when Spencer went down.
