This is the realistic outlook fans should have, imo. Of course everyone’s goal is to win a championship, but that doesn’t mean it’s realistic for this program in its current state.

1. Yes 2. Yes, always rooting for the team to do well. I don’t think RT is the right guy, and I don’t think making the tournament impacts CDC’s decision. That should be the minimum standard at Texas.

I would argue Duvernay has had a solid NFL career. He carved out a nice role for himself in Baltimore and although he was recently cut by Jaguars, think he did better than many thought he would. Just my opinion.

OU is the more traditional “rival.” My hatred for A&M, however, runs deep. I grew up in Southeast Texas where almost everyone around me was an Aggie. I was one of a few that went on to UT. Beating A&M gives me immensely more joy than OU. But, I respect OU much more if that makes sense.
