From a players perspective, what makes Texas the best program in the country?

I wish mods would quit reinforcing the idea that a top x class is an annual goal when it's just a metric. Recruiting rankings are an industry invention - not a measure of meeting roster needs or avoiding reaching for players. All it shows is that sucky programs can volume recruit 4 stars. I'd value a regular OTF position group grade A-F (or Inc) more.

Especially breaking down the opponent rather than pointing out too many of our own hidden warts to the opponents GAs!

I'll go back to my main one - clip up the shows into snackable segments like Klatt does. You've got the best content but I don't have an hour daily to watch. Hopefully boosted views and engagement offsets the costs.

Chances of a portal rb option developing by spring 27 are decent compared to the chances one of the 5 stars is a bust or blows out an ankle or knee. Sucks but put the money where it is needed most.

For Directors Cup, Title IX, softball fans etc - maybe. If Tech doesn't win, or, if the next $1M player is a clubhouse problem, that will be a fun conversation. And I think a player like Cat is worthy of an all sports Mt Rushmore conversation (with more than 5 heads) As for a pure economic value, or fan eyeball perspective, the $1M might help softball fundraising, but probably still has a much bigger multiplier in other sports, even outside of the QB. I'd love to see someone pencil that out.

Bigger question than 1 vs 2 - which super match do we prefer and by geography who is the upset candidate in that regional. Earlier brackets had Tennessee and A&M matched up with us - yuck! Out of this lot, GT and Ole Miss might be the toughest outs.

On the bright side if someone else can put a loss on 0U, I like our chances. And we can handle the other side of the bracket in a championship.
