I think the problem isn't Flood's ability to develop it is his and Sarkisian's desire to recruit stiff large bodies that were already max'd out lacking the athleticism to execute the zone concepts Sarkisian likes to run in his offense. Hopefully, they have changed the way they are evaulating kids in HS and will take more guys that have room to grow physically that already possess above average to elite athleticism for the position. The other issue being their reluctance to use the portal to fix gaping holes due to their poor recruting strategy. It appears both of these issues are being addressed.

This team has serious pitching problems in the bullpen outside of Cosart, and the offense seems to be limping into the post-season same as last year. Two years and Schlossnagle's team has gotten progressive worse through the course of the season.

Sounds like a certain coach and his benefactor didn't do their due diligence.

@Gerry Hamilton so last week I asked if you would take Swain and Matas returning whike adding Johnson and Punch. 75% in one weeked is pretty outstanding for Miller and company.

I think this all but clinches the Director's Cup for Texas, especially with MBB's unexpected run to the SS. Baseball and softball should each put up huge numbers.

Cox for Purdue is going to be hurting as well. I thought in real time he had torn a ligament, but it seems to only be a hyper-extension. Him being hobbled is just as big of an issue as Pope is for us. Whoever he is guarding needs to force him the action.

That would be a huge loss for Purdue. Cox is really good.
