  1. The fact that we got to number 2 on a player we didn’t actively recruit until a few months ago over OSU, Miami and Bama is what the takeaway should be. we already have the number 1 receiver in Royal. Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered as they say.
  2. I wish we were playing LSU earlier before their Oline has a chance to gel and their freshmen DLine work out the kinks. Mississippi State is my dark horse surprise pick to shock some folks this year. They were close in a lot of games last year and with Kamario Taylor they may end up winning the close games this year.
  3. I thought he went to Kincaid.
  4. Ahh the old commitment before commitment maneuver.
  5. This kid wasn’t on our radar, reached out to us, was very interested, but in the end is going to land at Indiana. Why wouldnt he want to check out other programs. We need to get Royal.
  6. What I am excited about is the versatility of this RB room with Derek Cooper waiting in the wings.
  7. I feel like we are in the same position 2019 LSU was in. I felt like that was our year until we played them. I have a feeling a lot of teams on our schedule will feel the way we did after playing LSU in 2019.🤘🤘🤘
  8. Why not make it serious and Harvey bets that if Notre Dame wins the natty he has to post a video saying that Duncan is the GOAT of his era and Wemby will be better than Kobe 😂😂😂😂
  9. If there were leaks that he was going to us I feel like OTF would know and we would be getting vibes from OtF in youtube etc. I think it will help us keep Royal if Sales commits to Indiana.
  10. He was recruited to USC as a WR. He will be a beast in this offense.
  11. DK Moore never committed to us publicly, so in my book Royal is way ahead of what happened
  12. That is true about every single high school kid. None of them play in front of 100k. The only thing you have to go on is film and who they play against.
  13. His film at Waxahachie last year was terrific. He played all the big boys and was criminally underrated.
  14. He is a Georgia fan, but he is also pretty honest about his analysis of other teams and players.
  15. I think Brooks has some good takes and good analysis. His arguments are usually logical and fact based and not emotional or biased, unlike a lot of other clickbait pundits. Him saying we have the most talented and deep team all around is an opinion, but it is also one I agree with.
  16. Let’s hope they are prophetic delusions.
  17. I wouldnt be surprised if we are negotiating a package deal with both of their agents to make it a compatible fit where they both make bank. I think both realize their chances of success are higher if other teams can’t focus them. They compliement each other’s styles as well. Sure LSU may make us pay more, but it would be worth it to get both of them.
  18. Kinda like Causality.
  19. All Wiltfong does is leverage the supposed insiders who tell him what they think and then he predicts it. They have a pretty big staff and ON3 and it feeds up to the talking heads. There is no way one guy could cover all of nationwide recruiting. If you watch his Youtube videos he is reading from some sort of teleprompter and then ON3 cuts up his takes and spreads them around in multiple videos that get blasted to different fan bases. I will say that if Wiltfong predicted it, though, that means a lot of insiders at multiple teams probably predicted it, so it is probably going to happen. For the Longhorns,OTF is way ahead of him, so it doesn’t mean as much. I’m glad OTF is independent.
  20. Thank you for linking it. There were not really any details in this other than the podcaster thinks it will be a success because Wade Rousse is involved—which is kind of questionable. They tout their Woodside Energy deals and how cutting edge they are. I am very skeptical of this “secret plan” but apparently there is little to no enforcement anymore so I guess they decided to go hell bent for leather on throwing money around like Tech— but with the tacit blessing of their Governor. I didn’t hear him mention it, but I think the invitation had a rallying cry of something like: One State, Two Colors, Three Letters:LSU. So, if Governor Landry is really behind this, I can see a situation where his executive power may be challenged in sponsoring such a funding deal—not for academics—but for football players who can swap schools and play for the highest bidder. That is a straight up Louisiana politician approach to “unsustainable”. I am very skeptical of whatever brain trust scheme they cooked up and if it does go through, I think you will see massive embezzlement/fraud in how it is carried out. I’ll wait and see, but I bet it is not as earth shattering as they make it seem. It really smacks of desperation in a weird way—which tells me the LSU donors must be extremely fatigued after buying out Kelly and watching Lane go on a spending spree in the portal and recruiting. Those donors will likely end up holding the debt when Lane flames out like he did at Tennessee, USC or jumps ship to the NFL.
  21. Thank you. I appreciate you.
  22. I jokingly posted somewhere else that it would be a shame if he went somewhere else because of a misleading tweet to get clicks. Kids are tempermental and if they think their trust was violated, I can see it pushing a kid on the edge somewhere else. Like getting a 8:00 am facetime call from Ketch.
  23. To be fair, the way it was tweeted was confusing and it was not clear who the quote was attributed to.
