Sark to NFL Smoke…
Massive amount of smoke around this. I’d hate to see Sark go, personally. And I honestly feel bad for him being surrounded by people that make his life harder than it should be. Dude has been through a lot and deserves a clear mind. He’s not getting that from his “supporting cast.”

Recruiting - could be some interesting news
Oh you definitely have to let people go. - I’m not sure our three 2025 five star freshman WR are worth their price. Hell, one was already moved to RB. - Mosley might be the only starter worth holding on to at WR. Keep Livingstone as well. Go all in on Cam at the Wingo position. - Clean out the RB room. Keep Simon, bring in Cooper, the Roundrock RB and make it impossible for Baugh to say no.

Recruiting - could be some interesting news
If we were really playing to win next year and build an elite offense around Arch, how about adding Baugh at RB and Cam Coleman at WR. That would certainly shake things up.

Sark to NFL Smoke…
Kiffin is proving to have been the better coordinator under Carroll. I'd take him in a second if Sark heads back to the NFL.

Recruiting - could be some interesting news
At this stage of his program Sark needs to rebuild momentum. I honestly think Portal is way more important than the high school recruiting class. We have to go all in building around Arch next year. Sark needs to show he belongs with the big boys. He needs to beat Ohio State at home or this whole thing crumbles quickly. I dont' want to hear about who is in or not in the portal this year. Players are recruited to the portal via agents. That's the game. Go out and play it. We need to win the Cam Coleman sweepstakes, load up with 3 SEC-starter quality interior OL and get a difference maker at RB1 with experience that can start for us next year. If we go into Ohio State trotting out Wisner or a freshman RB next year i'm going to lose my mind.

Eye-Opening Rushing Numbers (Monday AM)
I don't think a power running game is a priority for Sark. It's not in his DNA. He's a finesse offensive coordinator. He builds his offensive side of the ball from the outside in. When it works and he has the perfect personnel like at Bama in 2020 it's a thing of beauty. When it doesn't it's a total s-show. Sark benefitted from three tough ass NFL running backs that Herman left behind. Once they left he’s done nothing to replace them.

3 primary objectives ahead.
1. Beat Aggy 2. Rebuild / Reload / Go hell bent on shoring up this roster around Arch for 2026. 3. Beat Ohio State at home in game two and get that albatross off Sark’s back.

Recruiting
Money. Thats what we do.

A lot of turnover when NIL talks heat up?
Curious how Littleton would look sliding over.

A lot of turnover when NIL talks heat up?
You have one year left with Arch. Go all in. Rethink the freshman five star WRs we have on campus. Lower their NIL if they’re not proving to be elite. Go all in on the Cam Coleman sweepstakes. Rebuild the entire interior OL from LG to C to RG with experienced SEC quality starters. Rebuild the RB room. Keep Simon, bring in Cooper and get at least one starter SEC quality RB with experience who can be a difference maker in game one against Ohio State in Austin. If we go into that game with Wisner or a freshman starting at RB I’m going to pull my hair out. Georgia did this exact thing with Etienne last year and won the SEC with him. Defense has holes as well but we gotta start with fixing the offense because not being able to even score 20 points in games is entirely too much pressure to put on our D regardless of who we have on that side of the ball.

Kirby was on the attack in post game PC
He’s tired of us going in and money whipping his recruiting targets. So he sticks the knife in every time he beats us. It’s just all part of a mentality he coaches with that makes him so successful. Always finding an edge and maximizing talent instead of making excuses.

Snap Judgments: Another showdown with Georgia, another humbling loss for Texas
Scores on Georgia’s D this year: Vols 41 Bama 24 Ole Miss 35 Florida 20 Miss St 21 Texas 10
-
83 rushing yards in 3 games vs UGA.
Yep he is what he is at this point. Hasn’t come close to replicating the RB room he inherited with Bijan, Rojo and Brooks.

83 rushing yards in 3 games vs UGA.
Absolutely laughable.

Snap Judgments: Another showdown with Georgia, another humbling loss for Texas
Outclassed and outcoached again. A sloppy undisciplined team vs a well oiled machine. Advantage Kirby every time.

9-3 Texas CFP Scenario
Or go 10-2 and remove all doubt.

Disappointing Recruits
Also happens once they get on campus and don’t warrant the salary they’re getting. See: WR room.
-
Cam Coleman
I see the need in the WR room being higher for a burner that can take the top off the D. Cam is really really good but more resembles what we hope we can get out of Wingo and what we're already getting out of Parker, a tall lanky contested catch guy with a wide catch radius. With Wingo, Livingstone and Mosely all back I think you're basically judging whether Ffrench or Lockett can be the missing piece (if they can't then attrition from them is not a problem) and then you move to the portal to see who you can flush in there that helps provide NFL burner level speed to go along with everyone we have back. In this NIL / portal era you have to rip the bandaid pretty quickly on bad-evaluations and five star receivers who don't come in wowing people probably fall into that category.

Re: State of the Program
I’m assuming Moore heads to NFL and they assess whether the freshmen WRs are worth the price they’re commanding. If not you reduce their NIL (probably causing them to transfer) and make way for an AD / Golden / Bond type NFL bound upperclassmen to add to the returning group of four.
-
Re: State of the Program
Tend to agree and I would apply it to his comments at WR and RB as well. I get that recruits don’t want to be recruited “over” but when you don’t have one upperclassman you can rely on then they need to understand you’re filling a gap that should have been there when they arrived. If we go back into next season with out adding a true difference maker at RB other than true sophomore Simon and true freshman Cooper that would be about the dumbest thing we could do. Don’t give me the “they are rare to find in the portal” thing either when Gerry himself says players are recruited to the portal these days. That’s the game. It’s all about prioritization and we need to prioritize an elite starter at RB for next season who has experience picking up blitzes, etc not just a confused true freshman who only knows a handful of packages. Georgia did it with Eitienne and beat us twice with him en route to an SEC ring. Bama did it with Gibbs before them. It has to be a priority. As does OL and at least one difference maker at WR if second year Ffrench and Lockett aren’t trending to be that guy.

Lane Kiffin
Put me on the record of thinking Kiffin does really well at Florida. Especially if he gets the NIL guarantees he needs. They’ll start locking down all the Florida dudes we’ve been cherry picking.

It’s been said here and other sites
All about leverage. Dan had it.

But it was no better with Neto (who the coaches spent three years evaluating) or with Stroh.
