Yep we get just two SEC starter quality OL and some depth pieces and we have dominated this portal for needs.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We have one depth piece so far at OL. We need at least two new difference makers projected into the starting lineup and that’s only if Robertson is the plan at Center.

If we attack our biggest priority OL the way we have every other offensive position hooboy. Still have PTSD from this past season until we acquire some DUDES on the offensive line in the portal.

I’m not concerned about the players hitting the portal. The vast majority of those are being processed so we have less dead money on the bench. The bigger issue is that we aren’t landing the big marlins we’ve been fishing for to fill out our needs in the starting lineup for next season. To that end, I think your question is valid. All the Big 10 OL we have targeted seem to want to stay in the B10. Hard to play the SEC card anymore when that conference is trending well. Comes down to good old fashioned recruiting chops and this staff is losing that battle way too often. Let’s see how Coleman goes.

We didn't lock anyone down before the portal window opened. Then when we got our primary targets onto campus we didn't close the deal before they all headed off back to their comfort zones. There's still time, it's just hard to believe we've moved on to Oklahoma State edges and Vanderbilt WRs from what we thought "All in for Arch's last season" was going to be like.

We had him on campus. That's when you close the deal. Always be one meeting ahead of the competition.

That's obvious since all the ones we're talking about have signed with other schools. But because this is the GOOD VIBES thread, I'll say that you never know who we might dig up and lure into the portal that no one is even considering yet!
