I don’t know about y'all but watching these mid major conference tournaments is an amazing appetizer for the conference tournaments next week. Knowing that 99% of these teams must win their conference to make the tourney makes it that much more fun.

2000’s: I only watched one game and that was the 2009 Natty so that.(Self-Explanatory 2010’s: Cal 2015 & Kansas 2016 2020’s: OU 2021, Washington 2023(After J Whitt caught that deep ball I thought we were gonna have a VY moment and was so hyped i got very lightheaded, 2024 OSU ( I was very sick and was at Jerry World for the game and seeing the ball stripped and Sawyer run the whole way as the opposite side went crazy and then hearing that fight song after was a punch to the gut)

2021 Oklahoma. I was Senior in HS and we had a game that day so in the locker room before we go out to start the game I peak my phone and see the score was 35-17. At that point I "knew" texas wasn't gonna lose and forgot about the game after kickoff. Well eventually during the game the PA announcer at the stadium says out of nowhere "Texas has just tied OU 48-48 with 1 minute left". I thought he was reading the wrong game until He said OU won 55-48. Right after the game on the bus ride back i watch the highlights and was sick to my stomach. Thankfully my team at least won so it made things a little better but feeling beat up after a game and then watching that was tough.

I was looking at Joe Lunardi's bracketology from earlier today and we are one of the first four out. I have seen people say "we aren't making it, stop thinking we can" But realistically we can. What would we need? would winning out regular season be enough? would we need a tourney win? I get we have little to no chance to go far if we make it at all but I need to hear the march madness music for a texas game this year.

No because they have no basis to go off of. They just want to keep him for some reason even though throughout his career he has never had any consistent longstanding success.

Share the exact same sentiment. I feel like Texas and OU have a mutual respect for each other in the sense both programs are historic and both teams season does not revolve around beating the other. Whereas A&M there is the animosity with little to no respect for the other.

I think I speak for everyone on this forum when I say thank y'all for all the work you guys do to keep us up to date with everything and for all the work you guys do especially on the recruiting trail. You hit the nail on the head. I live in College Station as a college student (Didn't get accepted to UT) so beating A&M is for sure more important to me than OU. In football, it is hard for me to think because the OU game is a game where anything can happen whereas I want to beat A&M so much more. In other sports tho, I could care less about OU.
