Unfortunate. @bierce you seem to be more knowledgeable on college basketball than anyone i've seen. Out of Arkansas, Georgia, and Vanderbilt. Who would have been the best matchup for Texas to face off against?

OK, if we are only looking at the 3 who could have finished in 12th instead of the 4 who finished tied for 9-12, then I guess I would pick Vandy because it is by far the worst defensively.

I don't think our SEC tournament seeding is going to affect our NIT invite.  We should be solid there.
