He's at his best right now in broken-floor situations, and, defensively, making athletic plays. He has to be able to produce when things are relatively calm. He did that some at UTA, but of course it's a different level of game at Texas.

Of course football is treated differently. This is still going to be a competitive basketball team, and perhaps a very good one.
Onyema played pretty well against UConn and Cincinnati in reasonable minutes, and not so well against Marquette and West Virginia. I think he'll be better this year if needed, but there's a good share of hope in that evaluation as well.
