Any guess to why?? Saw his grade for possible 2026 draft and he was highly rated. Plus he meets the size requirement. Don’t understand why they wouldn’t have kicked the tires there

I somewhat understand the Michigan guys going back to Michigan. Maybe they truly believe their team has a chance to compete next year, but I don’t understand Brown and Baugh. If the money offers are similar between us and their current schools, why would they chose to stay? Do they really believe that Louisville and Florida have better chances to win a championship than Texas?? Just doesn’t make sense to me.

If that’s the case I would think it possibly impacts us in his recruitment since we are a Nike school. In basketball recruiting shoe companies have influenced decisions on commitments fairly regularly

Feel like this was a short sighted decision. Texas over the span of her professional (non basketball) career would have opened far more doors.
