Cancel Ohio State Immediately
other teams have bad conference losses and will get in. if we play Ou schedule we are in, we play vandy schedule we are in, we play Bama schedule we are in. if we play aggy schedule (even with ND loss) we are in, if we play UGA schedule we are in. IF we play ND schedule we are in. If we play Indiana schedule we are in, if we play Oregon schedule we are in, we play TT schedule we are in. you get the point. 2 losses is what matters, not who the loss is to

Cancel Ohio State Immediately
i completely agree with you, they dont value SOS, only W and L record, fine, lets get 4 easy wins OOC and at worst go 7-2 in conference going forward and get in the playoffs. for those of you that want fun matchups, you will get them in the regular season SEC schedule and in the playoffs.

Texas vs Aggies score prediction thread
Sadly agree with Klatt. Need to get Reed to turn the ball over a couple of times. 11 game sample, we should not win this game but its a rivalry at home.

Film Guy Inside Info
they are right until we prove them wrong. This is the same team that played UTEP, Florida, Kent and Miss St or has it really improved both physically and mentally? Too many bad game for me to just think we are that much better now. if people take the BO glasses off, its easy to pick UGA over Texas by 10+.

Snap Judgments: Texas defies the odds and saves its season with a 45-38 overtime win over Mississippi State
there were many times in the last 2 games where both slot WRs were just wide fing open. alignment has been really bad at times.

Snap Judgments: Texas defies the odds and saves its season with a 45-38 overtime win over Mississippi State
if by not blocking and catching and throwing the ball well = mistakes yes. MSU dropped a ton of catchable balls, Wingo dropped a TD on a slant too. MSU made more plays than we did until the 4thQ. We made more mistakes until the 4thQ. the 4th and 1 roughing was MSU biggest mistake.

Snap Judgments: Texas defies the odds and saves its season with a 45-38 overtime win over Mississippi State
our pass D has been below avg all year, we just havent paid of it yet and still havent be MSU dropped 8+ passes. they catch any of the 2 and dont win yesterday. there are many holes in the back 7.

Benefits of being in the SEC vs not
We are not currently in a 16 team playoff. When that happens we can adjust accordingly
-
Benefits of being in the SEC vs not
That’s great, when you are left out bc 10-2 ND or GT gets in, and we are left out of the playoffs, use both hands on that pride.

Benefits of being in the SEC vs not
I have been saying for past 5+ years , we should never schedule big out of conference matchups. The committee cares about the win loss record more than they do SOS(minus an injured all-starQB, sorry FSU). If we had played Boston College, NCSt, etc (half decent but not top 25 team) we are 5-1 right now and can afford 1 more SEC loss and still be in the playoffs. 10-2 gets us in every single year so why schedule Michigan, Ohio St , ND etc? Yes it’s fun of us fans but I’ll take my fun matchups in the playoffs not at the cost of getting in. And there are plenty of fun conference games. IF, we end up 9-3 and get left out , it’s clear what we need to do. It’s all about getting in the dance, then let’s see what happens.

Snap Judgments: Texas bullied up front in an SEC-opening loss to Florida
it definitely felt is arky game. We went on the road and were not prepared for the physicality of football, not just SEC football but big12 football. this team, coming of the bye just did not show like it gave a sh!t and got b!tch slapped by a below avg florida team. florida scored 10 vs Lsu, 7 vs miami and 16 vs USF all of a sudden can run at will and 1 WR back makes everyone including a below avg playing QB look like he is going to ask to up his NIL deal. I know we are "2 plays away" but it looked like we got beaten up in the alley. We could play another 4 quarters and we are still not winning this game. Very disappointing that both line got beat repeatedly.

The Farmers will be a tough out...
I agree, Auburn having a Tyrone Swoopes Texas offense beats Aggie yesterday. Saying that, Reed has improved and that team is playing better currently and finishing games better than 2024. Rivalry games are 98% of the time not easy wins.

Kavian Bryant’s next Texas visit
Yep, TT, for now at least. $ plus chance to play year 2, ready or not.

John Mateer Surgery Update
Looks alike that was posted on a website, clear HIPPA violations, 99% not true. No real medical professional would do that either. it didn’t say what bone it was but so far we didn’t even know it was an ORIF, which it might not be.

Thoughts on what happened to No. 1 Texas in a 14-7, season-opening loss to No. 3 Ohio State
I agree its hard to be a HC and a playcaller but at the same time the #1 single thing Sark has done best in his coaching life is playcall. He does need to make some type of change or check and balance system or someone to make some situational suggestions.

SEC 9 game schedule
So we are going to 9 games and each team gets 3 permanent opponents. This is how I think it should be. Do you think its fair? What would you change?
