As someone who has had surgery on both shoulders, I'm not sure about that. They take awhile to get range of motion and strength back. Weight lifting is going to be a problem. Also, they feel tender. The last thing I would have wanted was the kind of contact associated with football, especially on the D1 level. It's going to set every player having shoulder surgery back at least 4 months.

The first O-Line class assembled through luck and the pancake factory. Since then, the evals have been horrible.

Flood is a problem.

Not counting our chickens before they hatch as far as the talent goes but I will say one thing for Sark. He identifies a problem and he's not afraid to fix it. Getting rid of PK and the running back coach was decisive. I wasn't in on the player conversations but letting some players go was very straight-forward. If it doesn't work out the way we all want, it won't be because Sark didn't try to fix it.

Sorry. That's the way football works. You win the games up front. If we don't get the O-Line fixed, it might be 9-3 again. That would be a shame with the offensive talent we're getting. Big picture Q
