Add this to the fact that I never saw MJ on his knees begging for a foul call. I don't remember MJ doing that stupid flopping dance even when there was no contact. As far as just small forwards go, I'd take Bird over LeBron.

Although Bradley was a terrific athlete, I remember reading that Royal said he was predetermining whether he would keep the ball or pitch it. Street was reading what the defense was giving him. It made the wishbone way more effective. I also think Street to Peschel was as iconic at Vince running it in on 4th and 5 in the Rose Bowl.

Funny man. Always had a great one-liner, right out of nowhere. When he took over at Notre Dame he mentioned that there were 13 quarterbacks on scholarship. A reporter asked him if any of them could play another position. "I think one or two of them could play shortstop."

Other than the weather, I was happy living there.

New Jersey is a great place. I grew up there. I'd still be there if it wasn't so cold.

The one thing that ruins the post-season, IMO, is all the opt-outs in meaningless bowl games. This plan would involve a lot of teams and possibly eliminate the opt-outs since the games would be more meaningful. I say give it a try.
