One last thing. Hope Garrison loves that money he got. He didn’t play much and was a non factor. At Texas he’s either starting over Shedrick or first off the bench.

Finally starting to see a determination to get Tre driving to the bucket. The defense collapses allowing Tre to get some nice assists. I have no idea why they keep bounce passing in the lane to the bigs. It results in a turnover the majority of the time. Texas margin for error is thin. I think everyone in the building, and watching saw Larry’s weak pass getting stolen. Man I thought that was it. Fortunately they were able to grind it out.

He’s been playing on one leg for a month. He gets a week off which will help, but then it’s back to the grind. He definitely seems like a guy that will play until his leg falls off. They really need him too. Kent’s contributions have been great but he’s not Kaluma.

How many players on this team are even in the rotation for Auburn or Alabama? Tre and Kaluma. They have huge talent deficiencies.

Both are out. Kaluma is the heart of this team. He is the best rebounder, terrific defender and scorer. He is the best at finishing at the rim. Weaver is a lockdown defender. He is one heck of a rebounder too. Texas needed both tonight. Just like Kentucky needed their guys.

As the season has gone by it’s becoming obvious to everyone this is the biggest issue.

Knee injury. It’s probably going to be there all year. He is going to play through the pain. It was huge to win without him.

Kaluma and Weaver.
