A Look Ahead to Weather in The Swamp
I coached high school returners for many years. If a guy is not fluid and tracks the ball naturally, he is not going to be successful. We actually used our TE one year because he NEVER dropped a ball, even at practice with me throwing things at him. None of our “skill” guys could do it that year. When Dalan McCutcheon was in, he looked comfortable and a natural. Bubbler makes me nervous every time.

Volleyball- #2 Texas hosts #9 TCU tonight 8pm CT on ESPNU
Remember, Stanford and Louisville took Texas to 5, and the Horns had to make a furious comeback in both. There are 5-8 top teams that could win it all, IMHO. Horns are definitely one of them! They were clicking on all cylinders last night.

No. 2 Texas vs No. 4 Louisville Volleyball tonight 8pm CT on ESPN
They have a lot they can clean up and they are still beating quality teams. Their back row defense will make them a title contender. Improved passing will make them very tough to beat. Elliot has rebuilt another great team.

No. 2 Texas vs No. 4 Louisville Volleyball tonight 8pm CT on ESPN
Crazy comeback again!!! I didn’t think they played as well last night, the had a lot of hitting errors. They have grit . They beat a great team while not playing their best. Ground out a win.

Tuesday - The Future of College Sports
I believe Bobby showed you . Writing him off just because he played for Tech is the easy way out. Argue against his ideas, and prove he is wrong. I don’t agree with him across the board but he has some good points.

Tuesday - The Future of College Sports
That’s a great breakdown. It demonstrates how college sports are controlled by the media outlets. I wish it was the other way around but the NCAA is a joke and the money is way too good to pass up. I see a split of the “power 2 or 3” from the rest of college football. You outlined that well. I don’t like where that is going but that is the reality as of now. Schools like Tech are fighting to get into that upper echelon and many will get left behind.

Texas Baseball Announces 2025 SEC Schedule
I agree. The road schedule definitely looks tougher than our home match ups.

Tuesday - The Future of College Sports
I will disagree with you there. I have met him in person and had business dealings with him. I found him to be straightforward, honest, and very sharp. He is loyal to the school he played for and wants to see college athletics prosper. The two are not mutually exclusive. This is a huge issue and will not be easily solved. I was a walk on track athlete at UT and would hate to see sports like track and field suffer because of funding. Thanks for the insightful article Bobby. It sparks ideas and discussion.
