Am I the only one happy that we one yesterday? Am I the only one looking forward to the Mississippi State game and hopeful the Longhorns come out on top? Am I the only one, Lord willing, looking forward to watching the Longhorns play on Saturday. I get everyone that gets a paycheck from OTF breaking down the game, providing their thoughts, sharing their expertise, and voicing prognostications about the future. This is how they feed their families and buy toilet paper to wipe their collective behinds. At the end of the day, I’m a fan (not a coach, not a player, not someone that benefits financially when the Longhorns are riding high); I’ll show up on Saturdays as long as I’m alive and root for the Longhorns. The first 4 games of the season were played like preseason games. The approach makes sense in a 32 team playoff, it will be interesting to see if Texas ends up 9 - 3, and Florida wins out and is the SEC champion.
