Foamers were great. I grew up in Houston and happened to be at quite a few games that turned into foamers. Also reminds me of the strolling beer vendor whose selling phrase was "I've got the coldest foam in the Dome".

Thanks. I checked him out online and PG had him at 9.5 and he is a 2025 at Lutheran South Academy. Saw a few clips of him and he has good size and power. I wonder if he de-committed on his own or after discussions with the new UT staff.

I saw it mentioned on 2 other forums, including a Texas State forum, that the Texas State baseball team just got a commit for a SS that was once committed to UT. Neither mentioned a name. That is all I could find. Anyone hear know more about that?

Well, it would be nice to get more information. I hate to see discipline problems if that is what it is. I wouldn't mind if it was just a player flare up, but the team does not need sideline antics. The team seems to be very cohesive overall, but we all know that Sydir has not been living up to expectations for some reason.

Perhaps stepping up is not the best phrase, but it may show some signs of life in him. I don’t recall playing on many sports teams where there weren’t some occasional flare ups. However, that is being optimistic and he may just be frustrated and waiting for the portal deadline.

He might be portaling out, but depending on what the fight was about, if there was a fight, it might be a sign that Sydir is finally stepping up.

Another forum mentioned what appeared to be a fight on the sideline toward the end of the ULM game but the only details were that it may have been Sydir Mitchell and someone else. Anyone able to confirm or provide details?
