We keep saying this but we have no depth and 4 question marks heading into the wonder-kind’s first season as a starter. It’s all relative but Flood has gotten a pass in my opinion. It’s incredible that we have this line for that QB. I don’t want to hear how long they’ve been here. Very few meaningful snaps save for Goose. Well, DJ but he hasn’t shown enough at this point to not be a question mark imho. We’ll see but the last thing I expected was uncertainty at oline during the Arch period. 🤷🏽‍♂️

2 different things here. Very low probability of anything happening. 101% was hilarious. If he actually gambled and there’s objective proof, he has to go. It doesn’t matter if he actively shaved points or anything else. He opened the possibility of it. It’s still a nefarious world. If you don’t preserve that part of the game, bring in Vince McMahon. We don’t get to pick and choose how we feel about the rules. We enforce them. If they no longer make sense, we legally modify them, or stop having them. They’re strong in the trenches and lagway is a deep ball nightmare. That’ll keep us in an honest box and they have very good, maybe great backs at what they do. Their secondary was decimated by injuries last year and ours lost 2 NFL picks. Too many unknowns for all this 16-0 nonsense. Our line also hasn’t proven anything and is very inexperienced in meaningful snaps. We might turn out to be great but we have a lot of unproven at key spots. Florida is a dark horse if lagway stays healthy.

I keep forgetting about Terry. Positions aside, what do you see elite about his skillset. I feel like I haven’t read much about his potential. I think I’ve unintentionally summed it to jack of all trades, position of none, tweener.

This is so fatiguing. We’re 10 minutes into a new era and I’ve already read a lifetime of fretting, complaining, and doomsdaying. Same thing happened with nil. Other teams jumped “ahead” and started getting kids. Folks complained we’ll never compete because we’re mostly above board. What did Texas do? Waited, researched, learned, and then put together an elite nil approach that served us very well. Thank goodness we have smart, measured, patient, and purposeful leaders to navigate this landscape as well. And oh, the goal is to whip everyone in every sport so miss me with the sky is falling. Texas, if leadership so chooses, will always be top 3-5 because they have every lever at their disposal to pull while doing it right. It’s not patience. It’s intentional prudence. 🤘🏽
