I get it, but what did he actually get suspended for underlying the "violation of team rules" reason? A violation of team rules is very vague, there's no criminal matter out there I've seen, and Hugh Freeze was fired for a reason (he sucked). People make mistakes. Did he really do something that bad? That said, his recruitment was not ideal and I bet he asks too much for what Texas would value him at anyway. I also don't believe the conference updated their one-year bench requirement for SEC-to-SEC transfers during the spring window. Maybe that's in the works or I missed it, but he might have to sit a year at SEC schools. We (or his agent) might kick the tires, but not sure it goes anywhere like you said.

I bet we get in the mix for this one. Don't see Sark overspending since he's basically an older HS prospect without significant college playing time.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
Sounds like PSU is talking to Matt Campbell now. His agent is at WME and also represents Dillingham I believe. Personally would take Dillingham over Campbell but to each their own.

Women’s hoops! #2 Texas hosts #11 North Carolina, 6pm CT, ESPN 2.
Fantastic W tonight. Dominated both 2nd half quarters.

Tuesday - The Future of College Sports
An NCAA-backed effort to reshape college sport regulations has hit a wall in Congress You can bet a large amount of Cody Campbell $$$ went to lobbyists pushing to kill this...again.

Interesting alternative option to the UConn LB who went in. There's a Hawaiian Jr. LB out of Georgetown named GianCarlo Rufo that some sites have listed as expected to portal. 6'2 232 103 tackles 7 TFL 1.5 sacks. Could be a nice value pickup option too.

Penn St dumpster fire
There are other agents with bigger name coaches besides Sexton (Trace Armstrong).

Did Penn State commit program suicide?
Those saying Bama is a better job than Penn State aren't wrong. However, Penn State isn't trash either. It's a good academic school in the Big 10 with a stadium that seats 106k and a fanbase obsessed with football. Not like it's a terrible gig. JF had them competitive most years but only won the Big 10 once. They gave him 11 years. Imagine what KD could do. Same general argument if USC opened up. Saban looking over your shoulder with an office in the facility and a possibly unbeatable legacy is a lot to deal with. Bama fans are ruthless from the Saban entitlement. Not everybody loves that idea. I'm not saying KD will leave or stay but I wouldn't be surprised either way. Penn State would hire him in a heartbeat and give him plenty of rebuilding time if he wanted out of Bama.

Flawed logic has tainted the College Football Playoff selection process
The BS gets worse every year. Bama has the worst loss of the top 15 hands down. Until you put non-interested parties on the CFP committee, it will be flawed. End of story.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
If the money is right, his client can override him any time. Let's guess based on this issue though...Brian Kelly and Lincoln Riley would make a lot of sense now. Would Joe Brady be interested in leaving the Bills for the job? Trace Armstrong still has good coaching clients.

Notre Dame committed a crime this year
ND and the G6 auto bid are wasting spots this playoff. Neither is among the 12 best teams in the country. Miami has the H2H over ND with the same record. Make it make sense.

Collin Klein to KState
I'm sad too unless they hire someone worse against us. Good for CK though. He'll do well in the Big 12.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
Sexton was angling for a Sitake raise. That potential hire just didn't make sense for PSU.

That would kill the Sitake talk then. Sexton is his agent.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
What? Re-read. I'm talking about Sitake being a downgrade from JF. Of course PSU is an upgrade from BYU. That would be an underwhelming hire on PSU's part lol

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
I've seen this tossed around but it seems like a lateral hire or downgrade from JF. Would be very underwhelming. Feel like he's squeezing BYU for a raise.

This is an interesting one. Dude is top 10 in FBS solo tackles this season (61). Eck and Lampron are good options for a one-year SR LB but they have to enter. I'm curious to see if Chambliss enters from SDSU. RS Jr. from Cali that started at Utah (played 4 games) then went to SDSU. 6'3 230lb 106 tackles (61 solo) 9.5 TFL 4 sacks. That's a big WR right there. Didn't take long for a good one to hop in.

Cancel Ohio State Immediately
This is where is matters moving forward. 9 SEC games a year is brutal but equates to elite SOS each year. Big non-con games aren't needed now and are really more of a risk in the current CFP format.

Nicole Auerbach Texas CFP chances
Bama is not a good team that will have 3 losses if they lose. They lost to a terrible FSU who Florida destroyed. They lost to OU who we blew out. I'd agree if it was Ole Miss v. Georgia but Bama is on thin ice. If Bama and BYU get whooped, watch out.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
He would be dangerous at SMU, TCU, and Baylor. Maybe Zona and Colorado too if he can get NIL in order.

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
He would kill it at either of those schools. He's a Big 10 coach at heart. No way Michigan keeps Moore, right? Choosing between Michigan and PSU is a tough one.
