Anything can happen, but I don’t think this game is going to be the struggle some assume. I don’t think Florida will do much of anything against our defense.

I saw who posted this thread and I’m like, “Yeah, I’m clicking on this.” You always make this place fun. I agree. Florida hasn’t stopped anybody. Texas should win going away.

A&M won by 6, at home, over a team who only scored a TD on defense. Anything can happen, but I don’t think A&M is going to do anything to the Horns.

Some of us can’t “miss” something we could never dream of doing lol.

ESPN says he’s out a month. It doesn’t seem like a “tactic.” God bless the young man and hope the surgery is successful. If he has more eligibility it might behoove him to take the rest of the year.

He was a huge thorn in our side in the BigXII. Good luck to whatever he does next and God bless him no matter what.

I don’t know what to think. I know Texas has notoriously played down to opponents. I’m sure their mind will be in a different place playing an SEC team and they’ll look and perform better.

No, a general statement about our collective weakness. I was just using football as an example.

What I mean is there are problems we all have that we aren’t always willing to acknowledge are there. Plenty of times humanity is either blind to or dismissive of our own flaws.

Only Jesus ever was. But in football, like in life, you can only fix what you are willing to acknowledge is flawed.

Hope the young man has/will have a saved soul and has a good life. Glad he seems to have course corrected.

I don’t like waiting all day to watch…but at least I can get stuff done beforehand.

There’s tons of good lines from it. It’s also an interesting movie because it shows the possibility of a “family” (like church, police force, a sports team, etc.) overcoming differences like ethnicity. I don’t like the term “race” since we’re all a part of the human race.
