Apologies for TexAgs Post
Not many people saw it, but I posted that TexAgs quote yesterday about dysfunction in the program. It was not meant to offend anyone, and I am glad it was taken down. This site is better than that. There are fake news sites (e.g. Sportskeeda) posting that tweet as real news. Thanks for keeping this site clean OTF family. It reminded me of why I was here.

Love to see it
Crawford transferring was a tough pill to swallow. Best gunner I can remember. Happy to watch him ball out today.

Class Rank After Williams Commit
Georgia has some five stars that are uncommitted that might make it tough to break top three. I think we can get over 300 (247 rankings) which should put us squarely in the top 5, and possibly top three. I know that doesn’t sound as confident as what I just said, but sometimes you have to call your shot.

Class Rank After Williams Commit
We will end up top three class when it is all said and done. Mark it, Donny.

This is the least shocking news yet. The timing sucks though.

Which QBs are projected and in which order? Besides Beck?

Brandon Brown announcement (now July 5th - as of 10:15 am CST Wednesday)
All of this commentary on DJ Sanders being developmental, and On3 actually has him ranked above all of these other guys. He’s still a good prospect by many measures.

Aggies super pissed thread
Any links to where I can listen to these shenanigans? This has been the most entertaining month of Aggy meltdown that I can remember of all time.

Hi
@Gerry Hamilton it must be hard to keep up the charade of reporting to us who are Texas “leans” when you know who the silent commits are!

- Who are your top 3 players in 2024?
I’ve been given this some thought lately, and I wanted to put down my top 3 players to memorialize what I am thinking at the beginning of the year. This is not an evaluation of talent, but is more of who am I rooting for the most. So I will start with what I think were my top 3 last year: 1) J Whitt - I don’t think I need an explanation here, but what Longhorn wasn’t rooting for this guy after all of his injuries 2) J Brooks - I’m from a small town in South Texas, so I hopped on the JB train early. His high school stats didn’t lie, and I was pretty upset Baxter got the start over him. 3) Jaylon Ford - From a 3 star to an All-American Honorable mention: QE’s mullet So what’s your 2024? I had a hard time in 2023 thinking about players I “liked” vs players I supported and was excited about (I.e. Worthy) My three: 1) Quinn - I know this seems obvious, but with media pressure of Arch on the bench, and the fact that we’ve watched him grow and develop so much over last year, I can’t help but cheer for this guy. Hell, he might get us a natty 2) David Gbenda - go watch 3rd and Longhorn and get back to me on this one 3) Ant Hill - I think he is a future leader on this team. It’s more than his athleticism... he feels like another lifetime Longhorn.- First look: 2026 QB target Dia Bell
Would you be willing to say who YOU think is the better talent? I wouldn’t seriously ask that question, so no need for response, but inquiring minds want to know. A comparison of strengths would be cool though.- OTF on the road
Agreed. Not even in the same discussion.- OTF on the road
I play Chains on repeat.- DB Transfer Portal
Did we lose more than we gained? And if so, by how much? Based just on transfer portal rankings, we are a net negative in talent rankings, correct? Even with the addition of Mukuba. I realize we aren’t judging everyone based on the spring game performance, but I think it is naive to not feel the losses of Bug, Austin Jordan, and Brooks.- Steve Sarkisian Tuesday Press Conference Thread
We need all the good news we can get on Jaray Bledsoe's early returns.- Become an OTF OG!!!
Where's the OTFOG tag at? Need to represent that I've been here all along! lol- Concern for recievers?
They have good balance already in transfer and new recruits. The ones right now being Cook, Moore, and Bond should tell you everything. Players aren’t transferring in to sit on the bench.- Texas April 13 visit weekend thread
I really hope we land Pupungatoa Katoa. I haven't seen his Hudl or have an opinion on his talent. The name is just fun to pronounce.- Spring Football 2024 Updated Scholarship Count
I have a hard time seeing 4 guys that want to leave.- Saturday Conversation
Totally agree. It may have a bigger impact than we think.- Team Practice Notes (Saturday 3:09 p.m.)
We had unbelievable gunners the last two years. I’m curious to see who Banks moves into that role. It’s great news to see guys like Jelani moving into that position. It’s the most underrated position on the field.- Four-star OT Lamont Rogers locks in Texas official visit (Wednesday 7 p.m. CST)
Is OTF going to publish rankings for players?- Thursday morning recruiting nuggets (7:33 a.m. CST)
The new landscape of football. I still hope the brand and appeal of playing at Texas these days is making an influence. It's not Saban football but getting kids in the league should still be important.- Spring Practice No. 2 Thread (Thursday)
This is the best UT football coverage available, and it's not even close. Not to downplay the others, but you guys have built the all-Madden cast of commentators! I just have some explaining for why I don't answer emails the first hour of everyday.... lol - Who are your top 3 players in 2024?
