Agree with Marcus Myers this morning about the type of RB Texas doesn’t have. Texas staff IMO has dropped the ball on RB recruiting. I watch college football every weekend and see so many teams with physical twitchy RBs. No excuse for Texas not to have one.

They’ve been consistent. I think they’re a really good team regardless of their schedule. Gotta give credit when credit is due. They beat the crap outta of LSU, beat ND at home. You have to be a good team to do those things. It’s just the reality of the situation.

Because they actually RAN the ball. No running the ball, no touchdown, run the ball TOUCHDOWN. Simple

They HAVE to run the ball! Arch is not an accurate thrower. It’s imperative.

Texas RB recruiting has been mediocre.

Sometimes people can’t accept the truth on here. The whole team didn’t play well Saturday. Arch included. I’d bet he’d tell you that too.

He’s not seeing the field well. He is missing wide open WRs in addition to not having time to throw at times.

Question for @CJ Vogel @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton. Given that Arch is going up against a very good defense in practice, was there rumblings of these issues in practice already before the season started? I can’t imagine that he’s tearing it up in practice against the UT defense and then completely stinking it up against UTEP and other lesser (SJSU) opponents.

Have a feeling manning may not be ready to play at a high level until next year if at all.

These are kids. It’s going to happen. They live in Austin too. Just a kid making a mistake. This is not an unforgivable offense.
