WNBA playoffs are really good!

Featured Replies

The season as a whole has been great. It's not for everyone, but it only gets better from here when Betts, JuJu, and Midrange Maddy coming soon. Hell I can't wait for Unrivaled, it's everything the Big 3 wanna be.

Man I can watch MVPhee and AT go at it all day. And seeing Satou Sabally in short shorts run up and down the court is a plus for me. She can just stand in a corner and I'd watch her.

I get and understand if your a CC fan, but when it comes to the Fever they're more than just CC. Truth be told they are accomplishing more without her. What Stephanie White is doing with that group of women is nothing short of remarkable. Half of the starting roster and every point guard they had at the start of the season is injured. Still they were able to win their first playoff series in over a decade. They put the ball in Kelsey Mitchell hand and she said get on my back I'll carry us. Next year the Fever are going to have to find a way to move CC off the ball to maximize the offense. Nobody in the league can stay in front of KM or keep her from collapsing the defense. That will relieve the pressure on Clark and get her much easier and better shots. An efficient Clark is dangerous, Clark shooting 15% from logo 3s might as well be just another turnover.

A bunch of lesbians ridiculously pounded CC while the refs looked the other way.  Was it petty?  Was it racial?  Was it because she's straight?

It was definitely stupid because CC was bringing money and attention to the league.  My stance is if Caitlin ain't playing, I ain't watching.

The league is physical. CC came into the season with a soft tissue injury. Did her teammates injure her in training camp? Then she came back and injured her other groin, with no contact. Not sure what being a leabian has to do with, but you don't have to convince me you're not watching. They go at Cintron and Paige just as hard so I don't think it's racial. It is what it is, I get it, you're not a fan of the W. You're a fan of Clark and that's cool with me.

Who cares what their gender preference is as it relates to competitive and physical hoops. We have our share of lesbians sprinkled throughout our UT women's teams, but it has zero relevancy to our love and support of our teams. The quality of hoops in the W is really good. Lots of NBA players go to the games too. Just imagine when the next wave of college stars enter the League: Booker, Rori, Juju, the UCLA center, etc.

This next wave is going to be crazy. Olivia Miller,, Chloe Kitts, Lauren Betts, Flau'jae, Hannah Hidalgo, Maddy Bookie, Lauren Betts, and the young lady coming from overseas who's name escapes me are only going to push the competition to higher heights. The ladies in the league will have to step their games up or get pushed out, with limited space on the roster. I love it! I've been here since the inauguration of the W and it has never been this much parity in the league.

WNBA should really work on scheduling. These games would draw more ratings not going up against NFL.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd take a WNBA playoff game over a NFL game in the beginning of an 18 game season 24/7.

I do wish the major sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, track and field, volleyball etc would have a champions game where the two champions played for ultimate supremacy at the end of each season. It would be very eye opening to see that head to head competition I think.

I wish the NBA and the WNBA adopts what Unrivaled does for their all game. Instead of playing a meaningless game, they play a one on one tournament with money on the line.

The next time I hear a Fever fan blame Stephanie White for a loss, I hope a chihuahua gnaws your foot off at the ankle. That woman is putting on a clinic of adapting and overcoming.

While I haven't watch any games, the fact that the Fever are in the Semi-finals with 1 game to determine if they can get to the finals, with a team basically held together with scotch tape is a testament to her ability to adapt mid-season and make adjustments to her roster.
