Wait, you wanted us to kick a FG from the 1 yard line down 7-0 when we hadn’t shown an offensive pulse all day?

That is a loser 1980 mindset and goes against any type of game theory/analytics.

Yeah you go for it there every time. Unfortunately it ended up exactly like 2023 Red River and 2024 Cotton Bowl. Zero improvement in our ability to punch it in against a good defense.

  • Am I the only one that thinks we should’ve won this game if we were aggressive as we were in the fourth quarter???? our defense held them to less than 270 yards of total offense and kept them at

  • Dude. He lost ONE game. Let’s give him some time. 🤣

  • Sarkisian said he liked the game plan to start the game, but there was a lack of rhythm offensively that stalled drives.

They are so unsure of their identity in the red zone. That area is when the great Vince Lombardi would say they know what we're running but we will out execute them and he'd stick to his bread and butter. Sark seemingly rushes into stuff that is obvious.

Uhhhh that’s not what we want to hear.

You were entirely too vanilla, deliberate, and plodding. You short-circuited the strengths of your QB.

I actually thought Joel Klatt described it best. The playcalling was static.

The RZ stuff is terrible.

CJ Baxter says he felt comfortable back returning kicks and said the value of special teams in the program is key and he wanted to be a big piece of that third of the ball.

My two favorite CJs. Glad to see him healthy, his blitz pickup was huge.

Yep. And his lack of red zone prowess goes back to his days at the Falcons. It’s not a new thing. For all our portal acquisitions go get a damn fullback and run it up peoples ass inside the five. Nothing ever changes. It’s asinine.

No it wasn't. The QB couldnt hit wide open receivers and we ran the ball well. Should've had excellent balance. It's on Arch, not Sark.

Anthony Hill Jr. says he knew what was coming on the 4th down conversion and just missed Donaldson in the hole.

Yup

Wingo keeps being hyped up as a top caliber WR yet we don’t design the ball into his hands? Same with Moore… they were non existent

He probably isn’t giving up playcalling at all, and he definitely isn’t giving it up in the middle of a damn season.

It’s wasted breath. Let’s revisit in December or January.

It was revisited this past January. He’s out coaching himself at this point.

The elephant in the room: Sark has an elite opposing HC problem. He is now 0-6 vs Day, Smart, and DeBoer. I’m sure he will break that streak at some point, but the one constant through all of those losses is Sark. He has won some big games against great coaches, but time for him to evolve as a coach.

Why can’t Sark offense score 21 points or more vs other elite teams? No one is talking about it but his offenses don’t show up in the biggest games, haven’t since he’s been the coach. 15 and 19 points vs Georgia. 14 and 7 points vs Ohio State. What’s the issues with his offense? Outside of the one drive today when Ohio State went into a prevent the offense didn’t score a single point through 3.5 quarters. You simply won’t beat good teams if you can’t score at least three TDs.

Agreed. This OSU defense is legit, but it’s not as good as last year’s OSU D and I don’t think they’re nearly as disruptive as Georgia’s from last year.

I'm worried that OSU isn't good either and we struggled against them.
