There were 28 plays ran in the first quarter of Texas vs. Ohio State. Only 3 went for 10 yards or more. Each team has 50 total yards, and zero points.

I love what I’m seeing out of our secondary. I felt like that was a massive advantage for Ohio State. Still a long way to go.

This is exactly the first quarter I expected. Nothing dangerous, but the defenses are just so much more advanced earlier in the season.

Huge overreaction since he’s got the longest run in this game 

The two penalties in that quarter were very significant. Hopefully they can clean that up the rest of the game.

Problem is some of them are, arch has missed 2 open receivers, and had a wide open man running underneath when he took the sack. He’s playing like a new full time starter, needs to hit the open man and take a deep breath.

Need a designed run for manning to get the nerves knocked off him. Feels like we’re driving a Buick out there on offense. Need our explosive players more involved. Wingo end around, Moore slants, whatever.

Hoping Arch can settle in. He looks like he’s afraid to just be himself and rip it. 
 

BUT he’s also being careful, which is good.
