All are worthy and recent.  I wish I could remember some older numbers besides Holmes and Simmons.

Priest Anthony Holmes 33. 

Injury-career at UT, but great post-season highlights in the 94 Sun Bowl and initial Big XII championship game in St. Louis. Terrific NFL career as UDFA for Baltimore and FA for the KC Chiefs.

Got to see Edwin Simmons play. Fun to watch.

So many great RBs came after Priest that he kind of gets forgotten, but he was fantastic especially with the Chefs.

I remember the OU game Simmons had against OU.  My memories are clouded on what went on with the broadcast of that game.  

I was living in Arlington at that time and for some reason the Texas OU game was not on TV there.  However,  one of the hotels at DFW airport picked up on that and some how had a broadcast of the game.  When I got word of that I immediately made a reservation and wife and I went to the hotel,  don't recall which one,  but it was full of Longhorns. Sure enough hey had the game on TV in the rooms.  Great game and fun in the bar after the game.

This guy ran for 86 yards and two touchdowns in 1993 against Rice. That was the first Texas game I attended and this card is from the program sold at the stadium that night.

Big Foreman won the Doak Walker behind a very young OL.  He was fast, shifty, strong, and big.

 

 

Edwin Simmons flashed greatness, then hurt his knee and it was over. Something about his legs not being the same length.

It saddens me that Foreman's talent was wasted on a team with weak leadership and average / below-average talent around him.  His use was tantamount to abuse in some games, but he never complained.  Doak Walker winning, 2k season, selfless.  I still believe his NFL career was damaged based on how many times he was run at Texas.  Priest was the man, but Foreman gets my vote.  He deserves much more.
