The funny thing is that most Longhorns find it funny and don't care.

No need. It was funny imo. I wish it had been the ags did it on purpose somehow. Rivalries deserve that level of fun pettiness that hurts no one. Just laugh and move on!

It was Bush League but Texas can settle it when it matters. It was no accident.

The difference here is that Sankey was not happy about the appearance of some kind of disrespect toward member institutions. Even if it was unintentional.

Yormark, commissioner of the BigXII, was actively throwing gas on the fire for disrespectful conduct.

Rivalries and college sports fans are going to needle each other. It's part of the fabric. But the conference should be neutral, and that's what Sankey's comments address.

Sark was likely dialed in as he should be.  Not sure if he noticed.  

If every time they play that auditory vomit we get two 5 star recruits, them let them play it.

I thought it was intentional to show our little brothers that we still own them. Especially after last year’s one more beat down. Because they knew we would not be ready to play them in their house w/ their 12th man and all.

But that would have been pretty cold…

OBTW - Texas currently leads the series 77–37–5

Thinking about it, at Bama he might have been in the press box and oblivious to it. Then at the game, they are subdued and he's locked in, so maybe it truly didn't register.

 

I'm good with him ignoring it either way!

 

And I appreciate Sankey  addressing it just on merit.

Yeah he barely got to here it last year so he was prolly pretty unfamiliar with it

They are still big mad Sark interrupted there scripted entrance to Kyle field. Not acknowledging was pretty cool.

 

I missed him interrupting the entrance last year. What happened?  I thought the whole intro to the game was about A&M. It was so extra as the kids would say.

Y’all don’t get it.  The Aggies were sending a subliminal message to Sark:  Come and coach us because we want a real SEC coach.

It was very Aggy and I suspect they did have something to do with it.  If you think they're above that, it's the same sorry group that threw horse sh*t on our band barely 20 years ago.

Aggies would never do anything dumb like that.
