Is not one of the benefits to a potential June “national signing day” being that players can accelerate and the clock on NLI benefits? That’s a great incentive for guys to sign and begin drawing an income.
 

If so, the majority of classes  may opt to sign during the June election. 

The biggest drawback with a late early July signing it makes difficult for coaches to talk small vacation during the July dead/quiet  period.

I still think it should be a single day/week on the first Wednesday of February.

Either that, or sign whenever you want.

Strength is o line and hopefully a bountiful run game from it.  Improved QE getting thru his progressions quicker and climbing in the pocket with more efficiency.  

For it to make a difference they need to make signing with a school binding again. Right now someone can sign then just portal if they change their mind. That makes coaches have to keep recruiting their own signees which makes it all fairly pointless IMO. Lock in a 12 month window where a signed can't transfer unless the HC leaves and then figure out the dates.
