Texas will move onto the winners bracket where they await the winner of Oklahoma and Tennessee.  Florida goes to the elimination bracket where they play the loser of OU & Tenn.

Wow Oklahoma making mistakes that they never make.

They're a young team vs the previous 3 teams they've had.

How many Director's Cup points did Texas secure with that win, they are assured to finish no worse than 6th now.

I think we now have matched what the expected. If we win another game, we get more expected points.

FYI, Texas is still the heavy favorite to win the cup

Challenge the runner at 1st just to get caught up in a DP that never should have happened. If Tennessee was a tad bit less aggressive running they would have at least one more run on the board.

If OU loses, we will win the Natty. If not, OU will beat the crap out of Mike White. It’s they way it goes

Don’t forget Tennessee

You’re not wrong though, I hope they figure it out. Really was hoping someone else could take them out so we could avoid them lol.

this is from Biodog on IT.

Softball gets underway in the WCWS tomorrow at 11 AM against Florida on ESPN. Win and they'll move on to play Saturday, lose and they'll face elimination on Friday. Points-wise they'll go from 73 to 78 with one win, to 83 for the semifinals, and to 90 or 100 for making the championship series once again.

Is there a link to track that?
When I first read it I thought you were saying Texas was 6th in Cup, but I was under impression we were either leading or already sewed it up?
I love that we compete for this consistently.

🤘

I meant we were no worse than 6th in the Women’s College World Series.

Tennessee choked... we gotta do it the old fashioned way

Yep.    Questionable coaching decision for Tennessee with 2 outs in bottom of the 7th, why pitch to Parker?   OU’s best hitter by far and she had scored the only run for the Sooners with a HR in the first inning.   That seemed like an obvious situation to walk Parker, load the bases, they were up by 2 runs.   Makes me sick to see OU win on a 3-runs off homer in bottom of the 7th with 2 outs/.

Saturday should be a great matchup!   Mike White needs to break the Sooner curse.

Hook em!  🧡🐂🤘🏼
