Oscar Giles was 95 when I was in school. Yes, the one in the black and white photo.

Interestingly, no current player on the roster is wearing 95. 

All are good choices.  But since all the DT drafted lately were Oscar Giles' recruits, he gets my vote.

Bo Davis talked good and coached well enough, but Baker is a definite upgrade.

Marcus Tubbs never gets any recognition. He was more than solid.

Any DL that gets called for holding has a special place on my list 

Poona grew up on the South Carolina coast, like I did, and he has the coolest name by far so gotta go with Mr. Ford.

Gotta go with Oscar Giles, he was from my era when Pete Gardere owned the Sooners.

Poona was a bright spot during some very dark days as a Texas fan… plus I always love rooting for someone to prove everyone wrong. He’s done that and then some!

I love Poona Ford's story. And to hear Jason Kelce say on the record that Poona was one of the players he faced in his career who gave him the most problems is maybe the highest level of respect a defensive lineman can get in this era of football.

We named a cat after Tubbs back in the day.  He was a stout little Manx (the cat, that is).

I think Tubbs' game-winning blocked FG in Manhattan, KS in 2002 (which we watched with the NYC Texas Exes) earned the cat his name.
