When was the last time we played a FCS game in football? SHSU in 06? I can’t remember ever playing a FCS in football in my lifetime except maybe SHSU

Nope.  But we have away games at Ohio State, Florida and Georgia so we need a few easy ones in there too.

the sam houston game years ago was because arkansas backed out of our series.   i remember that game was added last minute and the game was on pay per view back in 2005 or 2006

This crap is going to continue until SOS plays a more prominent role in the playoff selection process. Why risk losing to a top ten ooc team when you can beat the crap out of Houston Christian? 

I would dog the SOS of every team playing an FCS school so that mid and upper tier P4 schools (especially the ones with playoff ambitions) would really think hard about playing one (or even more!) FCS patsies on the schedule. Until that happens, schools like A&M will always take the easy way to another W.
