So I read the thread before I saw the score.  I thought we must have been losing by 5 at least.  Turns out we're up 4-1.  If this is our worst baseball, we're doing ok.

Weather delay.  2 outs, bases loaded, and full count on Flores.

You should watch the games.  It was 1-1 and we were about to squander another bases loaded opportunity.

Would love to know.  The only thing I can think of is Skip was just trying to stall for a weather delay.

The game started at 4am for me (Brisbane Australia time zone).  Football I get up and watch every game.  Baseball, I get as many of them as I can.  No SEC network or SEC network+ over here, but I still manage to find most of them.  It's not a big deal, it's just the thread read so negative anyone would have assumed we were getting throttled.  All good, just a note.  I tend to see things a bit more rosy than most and I rarely get too down over a one run / tie game.  Anywho, the good news in a sea of negative commentary for anyone just tuning in, we're up 4-1 in the top of the 7th, Texas has the bases loaded in a 3-2 count and we're in a rain delay.

We aren’t hitting great and OU has helped us out.  Luke has been really good except for the HR ball.

Thank you, appreciate that.  It's a little disturbing to me how many times we've left the bases juiced in this series.  That said, it's good to see them getting on base despite not being at top form at the plate.  Hoping everything comes together in the SEC tourney.

Thanks bud!  Yeah, I take my smoking pretty seriously, but haven't competed in a while.  Maybe I'll slap some rub on something and cook today.  The sun is out and it's still early here, so nothing stopping me from it!

Have we heard anything on the rain delay and if they're going to get started again?

Anyone on here actually there.  At least LHN would have updated from the game site during weather delays.

I'm listening to the radio broadcast which is now playing Led Zeppelin.  Not particularly promising. The cell looks to be moving pretty fast west to east and if the weather service is right it should be out of range within the hour.

I'm now seeing the game possibly resuming in 15 minutes, but not sure how accurate that report is.

 

The Texas twitter account has gotten pretty good about posting these kinds of updates.  Otherwise, you don’t hear anything from the TV or radio brocacasts.
