UT Coaching

Featured Replies

With more and more college coaches leaving the college football ranks due to more work, NIL, and the ever changing landscape. Do we think UT will have to start paying position coaches a minimum of 1 million dollars to keep their best coaching talent? Do we see that coming in the near future?

They'll always be climbing and we've already seen a bunch cross that threshold. I wouldn't be surprised if UT's average position coach (non-coordinator) salary hits $1mil within the next 5-10 years.

But I still think young coaches on the rise will be seeking coordinator titles, even if that means taking a job for less money in order to continue climbing the ranks.
