With two outs, Belyeu reaches on a hard-hit ball that gets by Jones. Nice play by Dickinson backing up first base to almost make the play at first base, but Texas has two on with two outs in the bottom of the third.

Flores hits a sinking liner to left after a mound visit. It gets down for a base hit and scores Gasparino from second base.

Texas draws first blood.

Galvan's second strikeout of the night ends the third. Texas strands two, but the Longhorns push one across to grab the early lead.
