Bilas just said Texas was the highest seed of the last 4 in, so we had a little wiggle room.

It was more comfortable than we thought.

I felt pretty good when I saw somebody post Kirk Bohls prediction.

I really don’t know why he is on that beat. He seems to hate the Horns. Undercover gaggie/gooner baby.

I wrote the same when CJV posted it.  Now we do have to worry about Duke in the Final 4...

He doesn't even believe what he says. It's all shock value statements to get clicks.

CDC looking like HOW?!?

Man that had to be uncomfortable. Even more so by who they are playing.

Committee says UNC was last team in.

Texas likely second to last team in ... so even had UAB beat Memphis, Texas was in.

Third to last. Ahead of Xavier.

Xavier is a tough matchup because theoretically they can guard Tre 1on1 with an NBA defender (Swain).  If that matchup is held at a stalemate it’s going to be very tough for our offense to score.

Mark showed he can pick up the slack as the lead guard. Texas didn't try to force Johnson the ball in the SEC tournament and scored plenty.

It’s more about the attention defenses give him even when he’s not scoring.  Swain is a rare defender.  6-8 and fluid with long arms and great at navigating screens and traffic.  Will be a game scouts will pay attention to come draft time for Tre.

The good news is that none of us have any expectations so a win is a nice surprise.

No.  Truth hurts.  And it's sad that expectations are so low for bask but not surprising.  It's the worst program on campus. Hopefully the next coach can bring some excitement back to the program.  Coaching matters. Just look at baseball now under Schloss as compared to Pierce.

Texas was 41 on the seed list, so the first of the last four at-larges.

Terry gets his shot against two coaches in Miller and Underwood that would take his job in the instant it was offered.

I am an Underwood fan, but I've heard that Illinois is where he wants to be.
