Not Blake, but do a lot of these travel games... We got tix about a month ago and prices have been pretty steady/flat since then. I'd think that stays true, unless the wheels fall off for TN going into that game, which I doubt since it will be their first SEC game I believe... Since it's already a sellout from the official side, I think the prices will stay flat or increase slightly as we get closer, but the quality of the selection likely drops. There are still some decent tix like lower bowl end zone areas for < $600/seat, but also a wide range - I see 2 pairs 3 rows apart one for $580 and one for $1400, for example... Not sure where the official visitor section(s) might be, I just got a spot I liked... 🤘

Johnny Lam Jones was one of the first Texas players I remember by name from seeing a game on tv, after Earl... I believe he was only like 18 when he won that gold medal too... Also, IIRC, he was Lam, short for Lampasses. There was also Ham, which was short for Hamlin TX, and a 3rd Jones, Royal called Jam, just because it rhymed with/ Lam and Ham, but Lam was the man... 🤘

While true (about laying groundwork for their own rulebook), you are putting power in congress that doesn't belong there, will be fraught with issues, and too slow to react and adjust to changes... so actually while seems good, think it will ultimately be detrimental and will require the conferences to write their own rulebook... 🤘

I did a brain fart and just assumed it was Earl as he is so strongly identified with his Oiler's #, at least for me. In a cool numerological coincidence - my 3 favorite pro athletes growing up in Houston were Earl Campbell, Nolan Ryan, and Hakeen Olajuwon - all wore #34. That said, I do love me some Ricky, and I'll wait til 20 days left to celebrate Earl. 🤘
