He’s a top five pick, but I get what you are saying. 

I remember saying “women lie, men lie, numbers don’t” which triggered so many people on IT when we hired RT. It was fresh off of the elite 8 run so people and CDC emotionally wanted to believe RT was the right guy for the hire.

Yeah, not exactly the kind of performance you need from your star player in a clutch game. Draft talk and recruiting rankings seem to supersede reason here.

The NBA doesn’t seem to think so. They are picking him in the the top 10 in the deepest draft in a decade.

I'm not proud of the fact that I didn't watch the game, but it got to the point this season that I just couldn't stand it.

I've never been like this before... I've always been there through thick and thin to sing The Eyes at the end of every game of every sport.

But this year I've tuned out of a couple of games before halftime and then I just didn't watch at all. Maybe it's because Texas has been playing well in the other sports and our outlook is optimistic outside of men's basketball. I even joked with a Longhorn friend that I would take Rick Barnes back on The Forty... and then Tennessee lost a key game near the end of their season just before the tournament. Felt familiar for Ole' Rick.

Best wishes for CDC because managing this is gonna be a challenge.

I watched a well coached, much better team instead -- our lady Longhorns.

It happens to even the best on rare occasions. This young man was the lone bright spot on a team that never really learned to play together.  Our NCAA chances were already over being the 13th place SEC team.

I missed the Mississippi State game to go to dinner with friends. Never done that before. I went to watch the boys state finals yesterday, because I thought this would happen. 

To be more specific: Johnson is Moss; Chigurh is the NBA; RT is Ed Tom Bell; Longhorn homer is Carla Jean.
