Both Isaiah Bond and Jaydon Blue have said they are expecting to break the 4.21 40-yard dash record set by Xavier Worthy last year.

I am expecting to have relations with Sydney Sweeney!

RB Jaydon Blue says he really contemplated a return to Texas in 2025 in the middle of the season. Says Coach Choice sat him down before the Texas A&M game and said if he ended the season off right, he would be headed to the NFL.

I asked WR Isaiah Bond if the transfer to Texas lived up to his expectations –

"Yes sir, it did. Coach Sarkisian is one of the best offensive coordinators in college football and the goal was to go and play for him."

Quinn Ewers says he will participate in all throwing sessions tomorrow.

Matthew Golden and Isaiah Bond say they will both run the 40.

RB Jaydon Blue says he will do the on-field drills as well.

CJ will OTF carry all the throwing session with Quinn or just snippets? It would be great to see his throwing drills in their entirety.

The 2nd fastest Combine Longhorn 40 time was 4.27 by Marquise Goodwin in 2013.  This is currently tied for 8th place (with Henry Ruggs) in Combine history.

My totally uneducated guess is that Blue or Bond (probably Bond) might run faster than Goodwin but not both, and that neither will run faster than Worthy.  I'd be really surprised if both run faster than X.

What do you guys think?

Sorrell had a nice 40 time but I feel like he and Alfred were barely talked about or shown in the media highlights.  Did Sorrell do the on field drills because I never saw it?

I am not sure what the Combine Copyright rules are for YouTube, I would anticipate no. But I will see what I could do on my own end.

I thought both had very solid showings. The broadcast loved the movement and fluidity of Alfred Collins on the field.

Sorrell was able to parlay being the DL of the week in Mobile to a 4.68 40-yard dash and great 3-cone, verticals amongst other EDGEs. He was a winner of the room.

If we have the top 3 fastest times in combine history i wonder what the reception from the recruits will be

4.68 2nd attempt at the 40 for Barryn Sorrell. Great time for him.

GMs scuttling to go back to look at the film

I think Bond could get in the 4.2s, Blue would do really well to get anywhere in the 4.3s. If Blue gets in the 4.2s, he might go 2nd round.

Blue has been recorded at over 22 MPH multiple times in games. I think he can definitely run in 4.3's but I'm not sure he gets in the 4.2's. If he does It would be a 4.28-4.29. Bond I think runs 4.27-4.32 range.

I just went to U-Tube & Typed in Quinn Ewers media conference at NFL combine & listened to Quinn’s entire media conference. Lasted about 20 minutes. It’s obvious he loves The Longhorns & it’s obvious he is a leader & he talked in depth about his time at Texas . It is absolutely worth watching if you have the opportunity to watch it .

Top 15 pick

I'd like to see him in the 4.3s - will only go to show Texas can develop speed.

Honestly a 4.4 already shows this. There no way I would have guessed he would run a 4.4 before the year. Becton is the truth. Excited to see what bond and blue run.
