New Texas RB coach Chad Scott has been in contact with the No. 1 RB in the class of 2026, Derrek Cooper. 

Cooper tells OTF Scott reached out to him over the weekend, shortly after taking the Texas job. 

Worth monitoring as Cooper begins to lock in his official visits.

    Good to know. Getting Cooper ATH/RB to visit in June would be fantastic. Coach Chad Scott talked to Crowell RB and he has reschedule his TX OV for June 6-8.

    That's what I was hoping to see. One of Cooper or Crowell plus  KJ Edwards would be a helluva haul.
