Loeger is a freshman. He's due to face Galvan, Schuessler and Belyeu.

Galvan goes down on strikes. Loeger located his breaking ball really well.

Galvan is batting 9th.  I wonder if the coach is trying to take pressure off of him or has just moved him down to shake things up.

Schuessler flies out to center. Two down for Belyeu.

This umpires zone is killing me with the inconsistency 

Belyeu with an ugly AB that ends with a strikeout. Loeger retires Texas in order in the fifth.

End of 5: Dartmouth 2, Texas 1

Texas with 4 hits through 5 innings. 7 K’s. Doesn’t look good at the plate at all. 

Hitting approach is pretty pathetic so far this weekend

Ethan Brown singles to right to open the sixth, the first baserunner allowed by Duplantier.

Some of these At bats….my god.  Either a K or a very defensive swing for weak contact.  

Jackson Hower lines out to second. Mendoza goes to first to complete the double play. Very good defense by the Longhorns.

Dre faces the minimum in the sixth. DeMastrie flies out to right to end the inning.

M6: Dartmouth 2, Texas 1

Terrible third strike called against Flores.

 

Rodriguez with a one-out double to right-center in the bottom of the sixth.

We're tied. Gasparino drives a single up the middle and into center field. Rodriguez comes into home from second standing up to make it a 2-2 game.

Farmer grounds out to third. Gasparino is on second with two outs with Winfield up.

A-Rod on base 3 times today. Kid can play ball.

 

Winfield lines into the shift up the middle to end the inning. Good ABs by Rodriguez and Gasparino tie the game heading to the seventh.

End of 6: Texas 2, Dartmouth 2

Duplantier with a quick 1-2-3 seventh. He's thrown 29 pitches through three complete, 21 for strikes.
