He had a great year in 2023, but his numbers were way down this year. He feels like a good, solid veteran depth piece to replace Gbenda, but he’s not as explosive as Hill or Lefau. It’s hard to see him starting or even playing significant minutes next year if he were to transfer here.

Good to know. I was wondering why he had such a down year. Also makes me wonder if he’s a bit of a reach in the portal. Probably going to be better options out there.

Any word on Trey Moore coming back? If he does, you can play him quite a bit a LB, starting Burke as strong side edge and Simmons as weak side edge. That would fix our potential LB need and make the whole defense better like moving Barron from nickel to corner this year.
