All the talk came after their money was being rounded up to fire their HC but instead of doing so they’re using said funds towards NIL. Everyone and their mother knows Billy is gone after next year unless he drastically turns it around. Ffrench and Charles aren’t considering Florida because they beat LSU. They’re considering them because Florida is allegedly offering huge stacks of money. 

Napier only gonna be there 1 more year anyways, why bother?

Along with them going toward a positive direction with Napier staying put. If they got boatraced by LSU and then Ole Miss this wouldn’t be happening. 

So UF took the money raised for the Napier buyout and threw it at 2024 recruits?

I won’t argue with it you further. but I think it’s unfair and slanderous to accuse that church of hiring someone because of a football roster.

Yep.  Georgia, and even programs like Auburn, LSU, and such have nice DT classes because of $$$.  SEC programs know you must be willing to pay a premium for the best HS DT recruits.  Location helps too but these kids want the bag more than anything.

Texas understands the NIL game with DL and is player Just chill . Adapt or die, Texas has adapted.

The church isn’t connected to the school and they’re not like that. They’re good, honest, people doing the work of the Lord.

With that said, there is also some confidence on the Florida front. I know its a new world in college football and recruiting and I completely agree with your sentiment on allocating money for the DL. I dont think he is one of those guys who only care about NIL but i feel like when all a player cares about is NIL it most times leads to them being like one of those players in the 2022 A&M Class who only care abt NIL.

NIL is a top 2 priority of every recruit these days. Especially the top end recruits at premium positions.

My eyes tell me he's gone sub .500 in each of his years at Florida despite having a solidly talented roster.
