This should be a warning for our guys just how dangerous this game can be especially with an athletic qb with nothing to lose.

I remember this game like it was yesterday. I watched it at the VA in Waco, I was so doped up on antidepressants and ambien(the worst) from the night before that when the game started and ended I had no idea what or how it happened, all I knew was that we won🧡🤍🤘🏿

Heard should have played for any team that was running option football that year.  At Texas he was a square peg in a round hole.  There was this game, and Cal, for proof of concept.

Thinking Hawkins...would OU run option football at us?

Yes I think they will run RPO and speed option at us all day until we stop them and/or get out to a big lead where they’re forced to throw the ball.

Charlie Strong really misused Heard.  I think he could have been really good if used properly.

Heard never could throw a ball away and took too many losses.
