Aggie Tears Thread

Featured Replies

You gotta love Sark for saying he protected the Aggies and he hopes they will return the respect. They won't, but that doesn't matter.

On the bright side for A&M, they probably save a ton of money by never needing to restructure or renovate the trophy cabinet.

A&M buddy says they cleared him out to bring in Rodgers, y’all think there’s any truth to that?

Figured it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have an open thread with all of the fallout from CS. I’m seeing too many tweets to not keep posting them 😂

Saw this on 24/7-

"Fun Fact: The aggies have only won 31% of the games against Texas. In order to get to 50%, they would have to win every game from 2025 to 2065. In order to be dominant, where Texas is now, they would have to win 80 games in a row and the year would be 2104. An aggie born today would be 80yo. Thus, Texas will remain dominant over the aggies FOREVER! …and no aggie alive today will ever live to see the day. …and running away to a different conference again will NEVER change this fact. Hook’em!"

Special like going to school in the short bus and wearing helmets.

BUT BUT, I thought they won the national championship for having the best recruiting class of all time?

I love the stray random resigned voices of reason mixed in the madness. I almost feel bad for them. But I don’t.

Great take, so “elitehood” must be an Aggie word like hullabaloo. If I’m

reading this correctly, “elitehood” isn’t because of program and player growth, development, and excellence that has occurred in the last 4 years it because of favorable treatment by the governing bodies AND ATM being located in a craphole and they’re a bad boy program? They’re right about the location, but let’s be real Tuscaloosa ain’t exactly a destination location. The reality is that TAMU is viewed as a program neither good nor bad by most in the country because they’re not actually doing anything to be recognizable outside of having a loud stadium. Texas’ resurgence is a direct result of focus on excellence as a standard and winning is the outcome. TAMU’s real issue is their lack of this attitude not some nefarious plot to keep them down.
