I've shown those OV pics to multiple coworkers. Most have had the good sense to be embarrassed and complain about the marketing department. However more than one has defended the use of farm animals. Allegedly recruits thought the goats were cool. 

This is more BlowU related than the 8&4  but the amount of attention both of those teams give Texas is hilarious. BV lives on the horns down in recruiting and Texas is all BlowU podcast can talk about lately it seems. So I get a recommendation on YouTube to, HOF podcast, assuming because it had the word Texas and SEC in it, but is a BlowU podcast. They start ranking the SEC teams as follows… LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, and believe Ole Miss top five. They agreed Texas should be about sixth on the list. So realizing these guys aren’t serious I close the podcast and noticed they had another one the next day about, you guessed it, Texas for trolling after their shenanigans on previous podcast. The theme was, Texas is panicking. Two shows, one week, about another team. These dudes were…. Never mind.

I've moved on from Red River to watching the aTm game, and if there was any doubt, there is no more. That is most definitely a cult in college station.

No doubt about it. 

Content around Texas gets views, sadly for them, more than their own team.  Personally, I only look for stuff about Texas, I couldn't care less what other teams are doing, with the exception that I do enjoy a tears thread or tears show once in a while (like after last year's games against both ou and atm.
